NET-NEET is opportunity, growth, connection, mobility!

Taking part in the project means starting a process of social enhancement, besides facilitating the connection between two different and complementary actors: young people and enterprises.

RESULTS

The Net-Neet team is pleased to share the guide “The mobility of young NEET people, tools for a good organization and for the development of key skills” that aims to provide a method of individual and collective accompaniment articulated in several phases and to provide educational tools in order to:

  • Encourage the organization of international motilities for young dropout neets
  • Develop the learning of fundamental skills that allow young people to adapt to economic and social changes without being affected by them. These skills allow the person to transform their knowledge, their attitudes and their values into real abilities which means being able to know what to do and how.

The Net-Neet team also created the guide “The mobility of young NEET people, tools for a good organization and for the development of key skills”. Its aim is to provide a method of individual and collective accompaniment articulated in several phases and to provide educational tools in order to:

  • Encourage the organization of international motilities for young dropout neets
  • Develop the learning of fundamental skills that allow young people to adapt to economic and social changes without being affected by them. These skills allow the person to transform their knowledge, their attitudes and their values into real abilities which means being able to know what to do and how.

As a result, a great variety of competences is necessary in order to adapt and flourish in a foreign socio-professional environment. This guide sets out the elements of a support method designed on the basis of the recommendation 2006/962/CE on key competences for education and lifelong training.

In order to evaluate and support the acquisition of the 8 key competences, the guide proposes scenarios and exercises in the form of workshops. For the following skills - learning to learn, social and civic, initiative and cultural sensitivity - the guide defines the criteria for each skill and it then offers interactive training tools.

Therefore, this guide aims to describe the necessary steps to achieve the mobility project and acquire key competences. It includes the guiding principles of accompaniment, the schedule of the various phases, practical advices to organize them and pedagogical tools.
